Engagement overview

A real healthcare delivery example, generalized for confidentiality

The client name and identifying commercial and technical details are intentionally omitted. The workflow, delivery categories, and rounded outcomes reflect work completed by the team.

The challenge

The client needed a connected healthcare product rather than a collection of separate point solutions. Provider and patient users required access to appointments, records, forms, consent, communication, and virtual-care workflows.

The product also needed a healthcare data foundation that could support integrations and additional workflow modules without repeatedly redesigning the underlying model.

The solution

PragmaConnect delivered provider and patient application modules on a FHIR R4 foundation, including organization and practitioner management, patient records, appointments, telehealth, consent, document workflows, patient dashboards, and configurable AI-enabled capabilities.

Reusable authentication, healthcare resources, workflow components, portals, and deployment patterns allowed the solution to grow as new use cases were introduced.

What was delivered

  • Provider portal and administrative workflows
  • Patient portal and mobile experience
  • FHIR-based patient and clinical records
  • Appointments, encounters, and telehealth
  • Consent, questionnaires, and document workflows
  • AI scribe, assistant, prescription, and document-analysis modules
Selected outcomes

Operational and product impact

  • One healthcare data foundation across provider and patient experiences
  • Reusable modules reduced the need to rebuild common healthcare capabilities
  • Supported expansion into additional workflows and integrations
  • Flexible foundation for white-labeled and client-specific deployments
Technology and implementation

Healthcare - specific foundation

The solution combined healthcare data standards, application engineering, workflow controls, cloud infrastructure, and operational monitoring.
